I love ♥ faces. I do. When I first started my photographic journey, I liked taking pictures of inanimate objects. They don’t move, have a bad side or blink. As I progressed, and started taking pictures of actual people, I realized that I was having much more fun capturing faces and emotions than that fabulous unmoving bush shaped like a cow in someone’s yard.
Anyone who has read my blog knows that I am a little competitive. (I can hear my husband snorting as he reads this right now). I’m not THAT competitive. I just HAVE TO win. Not a big deal.
So, pair up my love for faces and my extreme love, bordering obsession for competition and here we have a perfect contest for moi. The theme is wedding bells and I am entering both the adult and kids competitions. Check out the website and submit your own stuff at: www.iheartfaces.com
Ugh. I had this post all ready to submit and they changed the rules so I could only pick one photo! Ahhh!!! So then I’ve totally changed my mind about which to use. I hope I chose the right one!
This picture was taking at the Mission Inn while shooting with my friend Paul with CeanOne Photography. All day the daughter of the bride was so excited for her mother, exclaiming how beautiful she looked. Right after the ceremony, she let her emotions overtake her and just broke down sobbing with joy. I just love the emotion.
