Today in homeschool, we learned that “slow and steady wins the race” as pertaining to turtles. Well, I’m borrowing that little phrase and making it my mantra. If I chant “slow and steady wins the race,” over and over and over and over, I may finally accomplish my daunting stack of “things I HAVE TO do.”
So what if it’s 25 days AFTER the fact, earlier this month, I celebrated my 32nd birthday. I took the entire day off, we enjoyed the first home game of the season and ate yummy food.
As I continue to plod along, slowly and steadily toward another year, I am thankful for the blessings of family, friends, love and yes, even work (sometimes…not really at this very moment though)!
