Philip Ritchie is a fashion and commercial photographer and an amazing visual creative who knows just how to photograph a woman’s form. He’ll be talking about how to see more creatively, slowing down, taking less images, getting the images you need, having fun and making photography interesting. A Costa Mesa local, we’re fortunate to have him join us.

From Philip:

With a bad economy how do you rise above this and get more paying work create images that sell as Fine Art? I will show and tell you what I have done to overcome this to where I now have a busy Studio. I will have my photography on display plus a slide show and explain how they were achieved and created, I also plan on having a model and MUA / Stylist there.

I have been a full time photographer for 14 years, mainly Commercial for the first 7 years, thereafter I concentrated on Fashion this led to working and understanding Fashion In Fine Art as I now sell my work on line and in Galleries plus I am now creating Ebooks of my photography. I wish I had meet someone like myself when I first started, to explain how to get to what I could see in my mind and how to create it but alas I did not. So now I am spending some of my time showing my photography and explaining how I created them in Seminars, plus teaching one-on-one at my studio in Costa Mesa understanding light and shadow plus composition, I am now seventy and this is my second Career.
