Butterfly Kisses (A video)

Being that wedding season is fast approaching, I saw this video that touched my heart today and thought I would share.

A bride’s father passed away of pancreatic cancer earlier that year and so for the Father-Daughter dance, her brother Mark re-recorded the song, “Butterfly Kisses” and the men in her life all took turns dancing with her. I cry every time I photograph a father daughter dance and so of course by the first 5 seconds of the video, I found tears streaming down my face. Simply beautiful.

I’m in tears!

Something similar happened at my Aunt’s wedding. My grandfather was in liver failure at time time. He was able to walk her down the aisle and that was the last time he stood. When we got to the reception he had to go upstairs and rest so my Aunt’s 8 brothers took turns dancing with her, my grandfather passed away a couple of days later.

That was a beautiful video, thanks for sharing.
