I watched her excitement via Facebook during the weeks leading up to her wedding, her statuses showing more and more enthusiasm as the countdown got closer and closer to the big day. She was going to marry the man she loved and she wanted everyone to know it. In the frenzy of the weeks leading up to the wedding, last minute details, family and friends coming into town, finishing touches, etc, she barely had time to breathe and enjoy the moment.
During the first look, she glided down the long corridor toward the love of her life, stopping just inches short of the turned back of her groom as he patiently waited for her to tap him on the shoulder as instructed. She waited with a huge smile and just let the moment sink in, then took a deep breath and tapped him on the shoulder.
Nina and Andrew were married in the Naval Training Center (NTC Promenade) at Liberty Station in San Diego and I was super excited to have been a part of it! Surrounded by deep red roses and damask, chocolate fountains and a taco bar, every detail was perfect. Great way to end the 2011 wedding season.
