The Weddings: Shannon & Dominic ~ Balboa Park, CA

The girls fussed over her as she grabbed a quick bite of chicken nuggets and fries. The word “bride” gleaming in rhinestone-y goodness from her shirt, but no one needed to point out who was getting married that day. Everyone could see the radiance in her face and excitement in her voice. Giving her dress a final caress, she slips it on, with the help of her bridesmaids and puts on the finishing touches–a little bling here, a little bling there.

He was waiting, almost with impatience, to see her. Standing around with his best friends, he smiled, joked around, talked on the phone, just waiting.

And as she walked down the aisle, arm in arm with her father, Shannon and Dominic both smiled and sighed with contentment. Their time was finally here and all they had to say was “I DO!”

Shannon and Dominic were married in beautiful Balboa Park, while airplanes flew low overhead and family and friends looked on. Thanks guys for allowing me to document your day! I hope you are enjoying Hawaii. I’m *jealous*

Admiring the new rings!

As I walked around the dance floor, I spotted Shannon’s grandfather dancing off to the side.
