for photographers: April SoCal Photog Shootout

Nine seconds. NINE SECONDS?!

That’s how long it took to sell out of this “Cowboy Casanova” themed event. Inspired by the Carrie Underwood video, a group of us made the long drive to Wine Country Temecula to TCR Ranch, who graciously hosted (and served us a cooler full of sodas and beers).

I’m still completely amazed and humbled that people are so excited about the SoCal PhotogShootout group and joining this awesome community of photographers. Our next event is in June and if you haven’t heard of us or what we are about, you can read more about it HERE.

So sorry for those of you that were unable to get tickets. We are looking for other ways to try to get you to an event. One way is the launch of the official Los Angeles Photog Shootout group. Click HERE to join and get updates about our first event coming early July. Thank you for all your support and I hope to see your smiling faces at one of our next events!

Special thanks to all who made this event possible:

Here are the handful of shots I got from the day – too busy micro managing for anything else!

The evening came to an end with amazingly delicious tacos from the Taco Lady.

And Mr. Rob “Ninja” Nicholson, the nationwide Photog Shootout leader spoke about marketing.

This IS my work, LOL! Photog Shootout consumes much of my time and I love it.

I limit my weddings to only 1-2 a month to keep my life balanced. I love being a part of the community and love being home for my daughter. I don’t care how everyone else does it, but it works for me. :)

I’d like to see more of YOUR work. How often do you shoot weddings?
