Don’t ask how a wedding photographer ended up photographing some adorable twins, but it seems that lately I’ve been shooting a lot of children’s portraits lately. Hmmm…

Never fear, I will never abandon weddings for children’s portraiture. I don’t have the energy, but once in a while it’s fun to stretch out of that comfort zone and into foreign territory. So, be forewarned, in the next few weeks you’re gonna see lots of cuteness sprinkled into the next few posts.

Twins. I always thought I wanted twins. I figured two for one would be easy and I’d be done. When I got pregnant and realized we had one baby, so ended my vision of one pregnancy yielding two kiddos. And so we stopped at the one…

About ready to celebrate their first birthdays, Kai and Katey, are the niece and nephew of my friend Sarah and Mark. They were teeny tiny when I photographed their entire family last fall (Click HERE to see that post) and it was fun to see how big they had grown!
