Christmas Cards: My box of fabulous Mango Ink Christmas cards sat in it’s box. Each time I passed them by, they cried out, “Send me! Send me!” I ignored all it’s pleas and walked right on by until their cries got so loud, my guilty conscience couldn’t take it anymore. I relented and sent out one batch and tonight sat and dutifully addressed the second batch.
Christmas Gifts: I dislike crowds. Once my brain went on vacation, there was no telling it to venture out into the mass of over enthused, grumpy throngs of people to search out the perfect gifts for everyone. So, I told everyone in lieu of Christmas gifts, I was giving New Year’s gifts. I have been pretty steadfast in keeping that promise, minus the minor transgression today when I figured I better get one or two things for my kid and husband to put under the tree. Otherwise, everyone else can expect theirs in one week!
I’m thinking outside the box this Christmas, but one thing is ever present and never changing:
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a child is given…and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, the mighty God, the everlasting Father, the Prince of Peace…” Isaiah 9:6
Christ is born! Hope you have a fabulous Christmas Day from my family to yours.

P.S. I’m going to be MIA for a few days on the blog. I almost had a panic attack tonight when the OCD kicked in and I realized that I was 4 YEARS behind in putting my pictures into albums. So, I am going to work on getting some of those done!
