Tiffany - September 23, 2009 - 6:33 pm

ENTRY 1: Katie Keller Photography

I love the way the model’s eyes and lips pop…almost like it pulls you in. I also like the way the arms frame the picture.

Katrina Wheeler - September 23, 2009 - 5:07 pm

I definitely vote Katie, besides the awesomeness of her skills, I just really feel like it was a very stylish, fashionable photograph of two people in love. Awesome post production as well!

Becky - September 23, 2009 - 1:12 pm

I like Katie Keller’s photo. It’s the only photo that the subject is actually looking right into the camara. It looks like she’s looking right at me, almost like I’m right there. Alfred’s has the girl looking towards the camara, but I can’t tell if she’s looking into the lens or right next to it.

mike - September 22, 2009 - 5:49 pm

I picked photo one by Katie Keller.

A very beautiful photo that is suggestive and intriguing.

Shannon Lee - September 22, 2009 - 4:07 pm

My vote would have to go to Katie Keller. I really enjoyed the lines and contrast in Keller’s photo, which draw the observer to the soul of the subject through her eyes while allowing the surrounding details to settle softly into the periphery.

Mary Hurlbut - September 22, 2009 - 1:15 pm

Art and thus photography is so subjective.
Each photo has qualities I appreciate…
yet also each has something that I find slightly off.
I must say I really like the clean DOF and soft light of #3
so Alfred gets my vote

Cathy Hubbell - September 22, 2009 - 1:11 pm

#1- katie keller’s – love the intensity! It really grabs you.

Tina Thompson - September 22, 2009 - 12:33 pm

Katie Keller – beautiful contrast and composure

Jason Zalameda - September 22, 2009 - 10:56 am

I going with my boy Alfred Bertulfo #3! Composition is great, the bokeh looks awesome, the subtle look in the model’s face is perfect, and it looks super natural, not over processed.

Jessica - September 22, 2009 - 8:29 am

I vote for Katie’s entry #1
It’s the best for the models eyes and the composition is good too.

Brent - September 22, 2009 - 8:26 am

Entry 1: Katie Keller Photography
I really like the focus of the image on their faces. Everything else is background. The focus brings your attention to the beauty of the subjects, and the amazing colors picked up really pop. Great photo!

Judy Isaac - September 22, 2009 - 8:21 am

I vote for Katie Keller’s photo. She absolutely captured the loving expression and emotion in the male figure. The female figure looks dreamy and captivated by the male figure. Great photo, Katie! I would hire you any day. – Hugs, Judy

Diana - September 22, 2009 - 5:59 am

I vote for Katie Keller – entry #1.
It’s all in the eyes…. the woman in the picture is so sure of herself and one can’t help but look at her gorgeous eyes. – I love it! Dare I say… ‘it rocks!’. :)

Betty McB - September 22, 2009 - 1:43 am

Katie Keller entry # 1 This photo tells a story! The groom is looking towards the future and holding onto the tree branch with one arm and onto his bethrothed. Makes you wonder what he’s thinking. The bride in her bright yellow is full of sheer abandon and looking towards the present at her audience.

Ashley - September 21, 2009 - 10:35 pm

I vote for entry #1, Katie Keller Photography. I feel a natural vibe, yet still holds an editorial style. I love the composition and texture she added to the photo. Great work to everyone!!

nick yutaka - September 21, 2009 - 10:12 pm

i vote for entry 2: jennifer owens. i like the sun flare, amanda’s big smile, and the beautiful shades of green in the tree leaves.

Kristin Rogers - September 21, 2009 - 9:32 pm

I vote Entry 2 Jennifer Owens. I love the trees and the laughter of the couple. Pretty sun and moment. Nice job Jennifer!

ty - September 21, 2009 - 9:06 pm

i LOVE photo number 1 by Katie Keller Photography! they way she captured the girl’s eyes absolutely pulls me in. and the man makes me want to zoom the picture out to see what’s disctracting him from the beautiful woman in his arms. well done!

lordbleen - September 21, 2009 - 9:03 pm

Entry #1 Katie Keller Photography – the capture of the color of the girl’s eyes are amazing.

Barbara T - September 21, 2009 - 8:08 pm

ENTRY 1: Katie Keller Photography ~ I like the grace of the girl’s arm following the trunk of the tree ~ and the pensive expression on the man’s face. The composition and color are good and there is nothing detracting from their faces. This would be just what a couple would want for an engagement picture.

Dory - September 21, 2009 - 7:59 pm

#1 Katie Keller: I really like the intensity of the overall feel. The colors are just right – I like the vibrancy of the yellow against the darker tree.

Lorrie Prothero - September 21, 2009 - 7:43 pm

ENTRY 1: Katie Keller Photography

Great catchlights, composition, color is right on, not overdone, focus is nice and clean on her eyes, his face is just a little bit out of focus, but intentional to bring the attention to her. I like the shallow depth of field, really brings your attention to the couple. Also the weight to the right side of the frame gives the photo interest.

Jose A. Escario III - September 21, 2009 - 7:37 pm

Entry # 3 Alfred Bertulfo

Perfect photograph. Very clear and beautiful picture of a couple. Perfect body angles. The man holds the woman with masculine support and a light touch. The woman is embracing the man for support and looks away showing off her sexy body. The man looking into the womans gorgeous eyes, and the woman looking away very seductive and shy. Smoothe body and skin tone, mixes very well with the high end fashion.

Great job on setting a picture, and story. I like. Well done.

Misty - September 21, 2009 - 7:30 pm

I vote for Entry 1, Katie Keller. This photo draws me in for the great composition, the arms and trees framing the couple, this moment; and for the amazing connection she has with her model. The eyes of the female model show her confidence in both herself and her partner. The colors pop and the noisy finish near the edges makes this a moment stood still in time for me. Beautiful.

Tawny Horton - September 21, 2009 - 6:51 pm

I vote for #2!!! Its hard to get that perfect sunlight!

Bernice Cole - September 21, 2009 - 6:42 pm

My vote is Entry #1 Katie Keller’s photo. I loved the way the eyes just look right through you and yet there was a softness about the picture, as well.

Staci Miserlian - September 21, 2009 - 6:36 pm

I vote for #1: Katie Keller Photography. I like the depth of field in that photograph and the vividness of the subjects – especially their faces.

Leslie Marsh - September 21, 2009 - 6:36 pm

I vote for #2 by jennifer owens. It’s just pretty. I like the sun coming through the trees.

Amber Fox - September 21, 2009 - 6:34 pm

I really love all these photographs, but my absolute favorite is Jennifer Owens’. I am total sucker for beautiful sun glare, but what really catches my eye, is how natural they look. It’s like Jenn stole a private moment of flirtation and laughter. Love it!

Carole Owens - September 21, 2009 - 6:31 pm

I like number 2 by Jennifer Owens. It looks so natural, and I like the heart by the couple.

Joseph Gambino - September 21, 2009 - 5:49 pm

I vote for No. 1 : Katie Keller – The colors stand out and it is a seductive picture.

Thomas Frank - September 21, 2009 - 5:12 pm

I like entry #1 as well, are those Dirty pictures I see???

Joni Wilson - September 21, 2009 - 5:01 pm

These are all so beautiful but I especially liked Katie Keller’s picture, entry #1. There’s something very striking (and subtly sexy) about the angle of the tree and her pose against her man.

Pam W. - September 21, 2009 - 5:00 pm

My vote is for Katie Keller’s entry #1. I love the expression that Katie captured in their faces and the boldness of the photo. Super job!

Nancy Howard - September 21, 2009 - 4:57 pm

#1; Katie Keller A clear shot, well composed. It looked like a photo, I would put in my own album. Some of the other photos, I might want to crop.

Merissa Garcia - September 21, 2009 - 4:36 pm

I vote for entry. Go Alfred!

Kim Beanland - September 21, 2009 - 4:16 pm

Jennifer Owens, Entry #2, I liked how the sun was fully captured in the upper left as well as the rays from the sun.. I also liked the little blue heart in the bottom right…. very appropriate for this picture… fun romance…. I also like the fact that the model is smiling and not too serious… she is having fun..and the massiveness of the tree under which they are standing is fully captured…. nice photo Jennifer

David Silberberg - September 21, 2009 - 4:03 pm

This Picture is my favorite. Katie’s picture definitely looks the best. I love the boldness of the colors and the great use of depth of field.

Rebecca G - September 21, 2009 - 3:44 pm

LOVE the Katie Keller photo, I love how her face/eyes are soo vivid while the rest of the photo is softer and has a vintage feel

Yvonne LeBrun - September 21, 2009 - 3:03 pm

#2 – I love the expression on the couples face, it’s a happy photo and the use of light reflects that. Plus, there is a little heart shaped sun flare on the bottom corner that just kisses the picture! LOVE everything about it!

Claudia Gambino - September 21, 2009 - 2:44 pm

No.1: Katie Keller- This truly captures the warm, loving feelings everyone hopes for in a relationship. I like seeing both of their eyes because you can almost “feel” their feelings. A very romantic pose and it contributes to the colors & texture of the whole picture.

blake g - September 21, 2009 - 2:38 pm

I’ve gotta say i’m surprised. I like katie’s image – the way the eyes pop – but the coolest image in here is #4 from fotomango. Very cool point of view, through a crowd like some paparazzi. Really creative.

Stephen Knuth - September 21, 2009 - 2:03 pm

By far… the BEST shot out of those above goes to Alfred Bertulfo. Great job Alfred!! You nailed the sharpness, pose, color & the relaxed style. I love his work and he is a great person who totally deserves it. :-)

Traci Banister - September 21, 2009 - 1:47 pm

#1 – Katie Keller. Simply gorgeous!

Mia Marisa - September 21, 2009 - 1:45 pm

I vote for #4, the composition is so unique in the way that it’s framed. They are all winners in my eyes.

Renee V. - September 21, 2009 - 1:36 pm

They’re all very lovely however, I think that #1 (Katie Keller) captures the ‘mood’ the best.

Blair Van Bussel - September 21, 2009 - 1:28 pm

I vote ENTRY 3: Alfred Bertulfo . The lighting is perfect, and the image is nice an sharp and really pops to me. It’s just shot beautifully!

Chandra - September 21, 2009 - 1:10 pm

Katie Keller,

I love her use of color and composition. The way she captured the model’s intense eyes and the overall composure of the shot.

Bonnie R - September 21, 2009 - 12:47 pm

I vote for Katie Kellers, #1 photo because the couple looks more centered in the photo, lighting & colors is better, there is nothing blocking, or distracting from the couple, and overall composition is much better.

Mandi - September 21, 2009 - 12:25 pm

I vote for Katie Keller’s entry = #1. The composition, lighting and colors are amazing!

Gail - September 21, 2009 - 12:13 pm

I vote for Entry #1 – Katie Keller’s image. The picture is intense and beautiful in color and clarity and just has that “WOW” factor!!! And it seems to tell a story…..

Keahon Rodriguez - September 21, 2009 - 12:12 pm

Katie Keller, Photo #1, How the focus on the woman is all you notice even though there is a man and a tree. Even at a quick glance you can’t help but stare back at the women eyes.

DH Photo - September 21, 2009 - 11:55 am

I vote for entry #3 by Alfred B. I like the passion and look.

Wai Reyes Photography - September 21, 2009 - 11:50 am

This is a tough one! I wish I could vote for at least two :( My vote goes to #1 because of the detail and PP, but #3 came so close because of the passion and the PP is just right and not overdone.

Maryann Meade - September 21, 2009 - 11:34 am

Katie Keller’s image (entry number 1) is fabulous! Her photo is the only one to show the eyes of both subjects. The eyes are the window to the soul. She deserves to win for not only this image, but for all that she’s shot and the ones just waiting for her to shoot.

Randy Wong - September 21, 2009 - 11:21 am

I like photographer Jennifer Owens entry, #2. The artistic use of flair in a non-conventional location, the massive scale of the huge tree in relation to the couple, and the overall balance and inclusion of a variety the subjects in the picture.

charleystar - September 21, 2009 - 11:16 am

i vote for #4, fotomango’s image. i love how the pic is framed, it helps with the intimacy of the moment, like we are peeking into a moment we’re not really supposed to be seeing. i think it is original and surprising, and i love the toning of it, plus how the woman’s eyes are closed (and love the pop of blue eyeshadow) and the guy looks like he’s in deep thought. i feel like there is a story here, and i want to know more of what it is.

Kien - September 21, 2009 - 11:10 am

I vote for #3.

Melissa - September 21, 2009 - 11:03 am

I vote for Entry 1 – Katie Keller’s photo. I just love the intense look in the eyes.

Nancy Roux - September 21, 2009 - 8:11 am

#1 Katie Keller is my vote. Katie’s photo looks the least posed although it’s obvious she paid careful attention to composition and detail. Her composition moves the viewer’s eye in a wonderful circular motion that moves down the length of the woman’s arm, directs upwards from the raised shoulder to the gentleman’s striking facial features, and follows the angle of his nose to settle the gaze on her amazing, intense eyes. Good job, Katie!

Aline - September 21, 2009 - 7:57 am

Image #1- Katie Keller. Love the colors, textures, and the focus on the woman’s eyes.

kim - September 21, 2009 - 7:52 am

Tira J - September 21, 2009 - 7:43 am
